Hi, I am currently on a 12MB download speed internet connection and I am confused because watching live streams and HD videos on YouTube stops every few seconds to load. It's driving me crazy. I check my network usage through task manager and less than 1% of my bandwidth is being used, still, streams and YouTube videos have trouble loading for some reason.
So, I haven't the slightest idea why, but in the middle of no-where, my phone just hands-down stops loading ANY videos over the internet. By this, I mean the youtube app doesn't work [nor do any apps that play youtube videos], m.youtube.com doesn't work, dailymotion.com doesn't work, etc. At first [when I tried to play it in the app], I thought it was a video problem.
The question is about a mild problem, plus a curiosity.
When I suspend my netbook (leave it suspended for some hours) and bring it back, my youtube videos keep playing for a short while, then stop. My guess is that, while there is a bit of the video in cache, the plugin cant re-establish the connection to youtube.
Watching YouTube videos is great – but what if you want to just listen? Stripping the audio from a video can let you enjoy YouTube content anywhere. You might even distribute a video podcast on Hangouts as an audio podcast! Dealing With YouTube’s Vast Volume Of Content There is a lot of content on YouTube.
Not sure if this is in the correct section, but anyways...
Has YouTube become ridiculously slow for you guys? I can hardly watch a 4 minute long video in 360p.
My internet speed is 11Mbps down/2Mbps up.
I tried this "trick" and it worked for a while but not anymore.
Hey everyone, I'm getting this problem on my HTC One X. When playing videos on YouTube it makes harsh popping sounds a little bit like static. It also sticks an jumps a little bit on the video. I've tried this on multiple video, with and without headphones, WiFi and mobile internet, Beats enhancer on/off, old YouTube and latest version. How can I fix this?
I'm using the YouTubePlayerSupportFragment from the current sdk (v.1.0.0) to integrate YouTube videos. Usually videos play just fine, but on some devices YouTube crashes when playing live videos (and only live videos).
