I had installed a ROM and have since gotten a dead pixel. I need to return the phone for warranty but obv they won't accept it if Iit's routed etc... I have since installed the stock ROM but this does NOT delete clockworkmod recovery!
Does anyone have this app/rom for the international version for Belgium??? Or do you know another way to delete clockworkmod?
Good news from Koush of ClockworkMod fame… an alpha test build of ClockworkMod version 6.0.0.0 has been released that greatly speeds up device backups, and also reduces the file size of incremental backups to around 20MB.

My friend wiped out my stock rom, and everything in my phone including my clockworkmod recovery. Now my phone is empty with no rom and no clockworkmod to flash a new rom. When i rebooted into Recovery Mode I am faced with "Android system recovery <3e>"(Stock Recovery).

So i was trying to root my verizon galaxy s3 on jelly bean and i got to the stop where im in clockworkmod and im supposed to flash the SuperSu and the problem is that for that specific clockworkmod there was no install zip from sd card.

Well, first of all, before someone jumps in and yell at me for such a question, I apologize in advance but I already know that is impossible to do it, but I still have some doubts about what could be some possible solutions for my problem.
In resume, I had my Captivate with Eclair 2.1 Stock rom, I wanted to use CM9, so I took KK4 Stock Rom from this post http://forum.xda-developers.
With all this OTA talk, I've been getting many questions about accepting and OTA while stock rooted.
IF you are stock rooted, you can't get an OTA update because you most likely have a custom recovery installed (Clockworkmod).
To accept this OTA, you will need to install the STOCK recovery.
