If you’re still dying to grab the Nexus 4 but were unable to due to the influx of orders that crammed Google Play, then you may be in luck as T-Mobile is planning on carrying the device on every store starting this month.
Recently, we heard from a source that Google was planning on launching retail stores by the end of 2013. These stores were supposedly being set up to sell all kinds of Google ware, but now we’re hearing some clarification that those stores are going to be specifically for Google Glass.
Only a few years in, and already the mobile application ecosystem has become an unfathomable jungle of applications – some 700,000-plus in the two top mobile app stores, Apple’s App Store and Google Play. And yet, we’re still waiting for the Google of the mobile app era to come in and save us from the mess that is today’s app market.

Illustrating how very, very hard it is to have a breakout hit in today’s mobile app stores, a report from app store analytics firm Distimo released today finds that only 2 percent of the top 250 publishers in the iPhone App Store are “newcomers,” versus just 3 percent in the Android store, Google Play.
In smaller countries, the share of new publishers tends to be slightly higher
Starting this Friday, July 27th, Carphone Warehouse will carry the Nexus 7 tablet. Like many retailers, they will only offer the 16GB version, which happens to be sold out in the Google Play Store. You can purchase it outright for £199, but for those of you that need a constant connection, you can take the Nexus 7 for free along with a MiFi for a monthly charge of £20.50.
Google’s Nexus 4 has certainly proven itself to be golden for Google and Android fans. The mania is not confined to the device itself. Those lucky enough to have one of the devices despite the severe shortage may be looking for some lightweight protection for the smartphone. Google is ready with a solution in the form of some black bumpers to wrap the Nexus 4.

i just rooted and unlocked my nexus (still on stock rom, which i want) and now i have a problem with my google play store.
first of all, some years ago i had an HTC Desire which used the same google account, now i have a nexus and before rooting and unlocking the play store on the PC (in browser) showed my nexus as a device ( i was able to choose nexus or desire when installing
UK buyers waiting to place their pre-order for a Google Nexus 7 device can do so now through Dixons Retail group stores. These include PC World, Currys, and Dixons. All of the sites indicate they expect availability of the Nexus 7 to be July 19th. The only version available on the store sites is the 16GB model.
