So I've decided on getting the Samsung Galaxy S3, but with the phone choice out of the way I'm stuck with choosing a carrier and I'm not sure what's best.
I've had Verizon for a while now, and while their service is great, they no longer offer an unlimited data plan. Since I plan on streaming video (Netflix, Youtube) for about 4 hours or so per night, I know I'll need an unlimited data plan.
My current T mobile plan is: Unlimited Minutes, Unlimited Text, and Unlimited Data (2GB of 4g, then throttled) for $79.99/month, plus a discount, so I pay $78 every month.
Now I never looked at Verizon plans because I have always heard they were so much more expensive.. so tonight I decide to look into it.. and I don't know If I am looking at them wrong or what..
But I see a plan..
I extended my contract with Verizon when I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S3 this August (the supposed cut-off was June or July). I thought that everyone getting a new, discounted 4G phone would have to give up their unlimited data plan and be placed on a 2GB / month plan?
Ok so I ditched sprint last ( reasons should be obvious ) went on a verizon plan with my boyfriend got the 4gb data plan. I have just a couple questions. 1. Im a little worried about the 4gb plan coming from sprint unlimited. Reason being I hardly ever used more than 5 gigs ever I think it was due to sprint slow network.
I am planning on getting a Nexus device (or maybe even the Padfone2) when it comes out. I got the Bolt when they still had the unlimited data plan on Verizon. I know that we now need to pay the full price of the device in order to keep the unlimited plan.
Not sure if this should be in general, as it is a question. xD
But a month after purchasing my galaxy s 3 and signing a 2 year contract for the unlimited plan, t-mobile decides to make the 30 dollar 5G data unlimited text 100 minute plan to UNLIMITED data. And for me to switch it would cost approx 600 dollars -.-
Has anyone else seen this?
I have seen the $30 dollar month to month plan advertised on the walmart.com webiste.
Its $30.00 and you get
100 mins
unlimited text
unlimited web (5gb at 4g speeds, then throttled down)
Plan sounds amazing (i don't really use the phone to talk), Has anyone successfully activated this plan on the nexus 4?
I had a plan from sprint which was costing me nearly $120 a month, so I dropped it. I still got the phone however. I never call anybody really, and would basically like to use the phone as a 4G mobile device.
Clear has an unlimited 4G plan (Which sprint used anyway) for $50 a month.
You remember how we told you T-Mobile has secret plans of an unlimited 4G data plan in the works? Well T-Mobile couldn’t contain itself any more and spilled the beans on its truly Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data Plan.
