http://www.oneopensource.it – Sembra che Valve abbia ormai rotto ogni indugio e ogni dubbio sulla sua intenzione di fornire un client di Steam nativo per Linux, infatti qualche giorno fa è stato reso disponibile sul sito di Steam un form nella quale si può fare richiesta di partecipare alla prima fase di beta destinata a mille individui volontari che si offriranno come primi beta tester per il client di Steam per Linux. Il form può essere compilato dopo esserci loggati con il nostro account Steam e dopo una decina di domande non ci resterà che aspettare qualche giorno per sapere se siamo tra i mille fortunati che avr (Software)

The latest Steam for Linux Beta update has implemented a nice touch-up from Valve and the client now blending perfectly with Unity.

Some Steam for Linux users have complained that Valve's client indicator in Ubuntu is not blending well with Unity.

Valve announced few days back that Steam for Linux beta testing will start in October. Since then, many new Linux games have been added to Steam database, including Team Fortress 2.
