Does anyone know of a weather app that has quick status icon instead of taking up the entire lock screen or using background images I can't change? I've tried a few different ones and none of them seem to support the quick status section on the lock screen. So I am hoping some XDA member knows of one that has this ability.
I noticed today that when screen is locked with slide security you can still pull down status bar and unlock phone as well you can hit the menu button to unlock phone. If I put to face or pattern these options go away. Is there a way to lock status bar when in lockscreen? And more so lock menu button in lock screen so the phone doesn't open in my procket? I'm running Baked Bean ROM.
To access camera on lock screen, I need to disable secure lock such as pattern lock or pin code lock so I can access camera from lock screen. Otherwise, it will unlock and ask for code to unlock before start camera.
Anybody know how to make it so you cannot drag down the status/notification bar on the lock screen without a security code
At launch, byobu-screen simply displays the normal GNU Screen status bar instead of the byobu status bar. It shows the proper byobu status bar only if I go into "Toggle status notifications" and hit apply (this then persists until the screen is terminated).
byobu-tmux works fine.

Hi :D , I received a samsung S2 GT-I9100 from company. Phone must be lock by PIN with 8 digits. So the problem is: I need receive pop-up messages like SMS and calendar events even when phone is locked, but it doesn't work. I know that messages are show in a status bar, but it happens so fast and because this I miss events and SMS.
is there anyway to lock this phone so when its in your pocket and you're jamming out to some tunes, the screen doesnt turn on or the volume doesnt change? I've had this phone unlock it self and its beyond annoying. Also the screen will be off, phone locked, and if i get an email or text or what ever, the screen comes on every time. It didnt bother me at first but its starting to get to me now.
I have selected this as my lock screen but I dont get any of the notifications on the screen. I have phone, text and email checked. Had the phone away for about an hour, returned and saw that I had a missed call and a few texts but none of them were displayed on my lock screen. Am I missing something?
Earlier this week I was listening to music, and when my phone was locked there was a full screen music player (not the music lockscreen setting), where I could swipe left or right to change the song, or press a lock button to return to the normal lock screen. I can't seem to get back to this mode though, is there a simple shortcut I'm missing?
