Ubuntu save default backgrounds in /usr/share/backgrounds When we open appearance then system load backgrounds from that directory, right? I have added some backgrounds in /usr/share/backgrounds directory but they are not visible in appearance window(System settings>appearance). Also in file manager i can't see the thumbnails.

Anybody know a good place to find clean wallpapers? Like gradients, textures, vectors or non busy pictures? Or backgrounds with bars for apps to go on? Backgrounds that actually seem like they were meant to be backgrounds not full-screen photos. Thank you. I would have thought finding them would have been easy.
Have Ubuntu 13.04 with Cinnamon 2. Had a Red Background (From http://technology.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/1403493/) on Cinnamon DE before the Cinnamon DE Update to 2.03. Have Copied the Background file to /usr/share/backgrounds Via Root. Does not show up in Ubuntu backgrounds, but Does show up in Cinnamon backgrounds, just does not take Effect at all.
