Acording to the FHS, the directories /lib and /usr/lib are both for libraries (libraries used in /sbin and user libraries, respectively).

But what about the /var/lib folder?

I have a dual boot (Ubuntu and Win7) machine and I need retrieve some hardware info.

I tried to root my A90S using Bi4ary. But during rooting it asks me for a data encryption password for data restore option. I have not put any password in my phone.

Please help. I want to root it badly as I want to get rid of the stupid default applications.
