Hi all -
I recently added 2-step verification to my Google account after they told me someone tried to hack into it. However, after I typed my new password into my Google account on my phone, and it went through the 2-step process... Google Now doesn't work correctly anymore.
If you are interested in adding some extra security to your Android device, you might want to check out Google’s 2-step authentication feature.

it is showing the error in the dialog box as below:
Cannot display location "sftp://username@IP.IP.IP.IP:PORT/
"Host key verification failed"
why so?
from terminal using below command I am able to access the server:
ubuntu# ssh -p 2222 username@IP.IP.IP.IP

Example: If a client wants to talk to a server, it just tells the server that it wants to establish a connection, then the server confirms. People say that the third step's there so as to let the server knows it can sends data to the client successfully. However, I think the server can implement something like time-out. If the client takes too long to respond, the server can go ahead to:

Hey all. I was playing with google 2 step verification yesterday so I was getting the codes SMS'd to my phone. However, with one of the messages, it does not show up in the message list.
I started verifying the server by putting a couple of static HTML's in place. Then I noticed that Google wants you to keep these files in place. I didn't want to keep the static HTMLs in, so I want to switch to an alternative verification mechanism, and include the meta tags on the home page.
:KS could someone post, or, email me a step by step on how to get this card working in Ubuntu 12.10 or Xubuntu 12.10. Trying to Google for what works is very frustrating, and proven to be unsuccessful.
Yes, it works great in Windows XP & 7. But I prefer Linux.
Thanks to all

I have a server which I can connect to via SSH, this server is running mysql. I don't have access via port 3306. Many years ago I got around this using SSH tunnelling but can't get it working at the moment.
