Hi,
I use Fed18 as webserver and in order to transfer file easily between development computer (windows 7) and webserver (fed18) i setup a samba folder sharing to /var/www/html/
for now, webserver is able to access to share folders via browsing network, however windows 7 client is not able.
as my windows 7 user doesn't have a user account on server, he's mapped with an existing one in sam
I've been stuck on this for a while, not sure what permission I'm missing. I've got domain A and domain B, A trusts B, but B does not trust A. I'm trying to run a service in domain A with a user account from domain B and I keep getting Access is Denied. I'm using the FQDN after the username and the password is correct.
I have a C# .NET application I've built that creates Remote PowerShell sessions to Microsoft's Live@Edu servers to provision user account mailboxes. In order to run PowerShell I need to impersonate an Administrator account (I'm using the LogonUser method with Interactive).
I am currently running a Windows Server 8 Beta Build 8250 hyper-v machine, lets call it Server, with a Win7 virtual machine. All the machines are on the same domain. I am trying to access shares on Server from Win7 using a domain account. The domain account has proper NTFS and Share permissions and can access all other shares on the network.
I am wanting to create a ipv6 DHCP server that will create restrictions on internet access based on MAC addresses.
Basically,
When a user's computer first accesses the network the DHCP server see's the MAC and say's it is unknown, it redirects to the website for the service.
User is on Windows 7
PDC, DC2 = Windows 2008 R2
RSA = Windows 2003 R2
We have a user who's account keeps getting locked out everyday.
I have enabled the Netlogon logging on the PDC and the other Servers following instructions in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/109626
I have used http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18465 to troubleshoot where the account is b
I have a newly installed TFS 2012 server set up and I am having problems with the synchronisation of Windows Groups (AD Groups).
My domain is called DOMAINA and my service account for TFSAgentJob is DOMAINA\TFS-Service. I have verified with dsquery that the service account can access the Active Directory.
What I would like to do is grant permission for a domain account to log on to any server/workstation and be a local administrator with having to add this account to domain admin group?
This account only needs to be able to read folder sizes on all folders on a workstation/server.
Is there a GPO for that?
My domain account has access to our MS-SQL server where the database resides, so I never experienced this issue.
When I gave the Access .mdb file to one of our regular users, he was unable to use the file without logging in. I created an account on the database before setting the Access file up and entered the username and password I setup, but it hasn't saved it.
