I feel like the title says it all, but I don't want to be one of those people who posts a title and then says... "so yeah" in the body so instead, here goes.
Right now I'm on Sprint (Virgin Mobile, whatever) and I've got an Evo V 4G (for all of you who aren't VM savvy, that's an Evo 3D) and it's... alright.
I thought this was good to post...
While I'm having no Data (see my posts if you'd like) with the Virgin/Sprint outage from April 11th here in Mesa/Phoenix, AZ I thought this was interesting to tell that I'm getting dropped calls ONLY when I call sprint/Boost mobile/Virgin mobile stores and the famous Virgin Mobile customer service phone number...
I bought an Evo 4G V from Best Buy earlier this morning. It's got the Sprint logo on the case and I had a few issues with activation but it's almost running OK now, except for one weird thing.
I don't know if this is standard on these phones but the voicemail seems to be handled by Sprint by default rather than Virgin Mobile, even though the carrier says Virgin Mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is by all accounts the next big thing, but its predecessor isn’t dead just yet. Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile announced today at the CTIA that they will offer a 4G LTE-capable Galaxy S3 beginning next month.
When Samsung's Android-powered Galaxy S makes its U.S. debut in the coming months, it will do so as five different phones tailored for five different carriers. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular will all support a Galaxy S device, though the handset will be renamed and recast slightly for each wireless company.
At this week's CTIA show, Sprint will unveil a seven-inch Evo View 4G tablet and a 4.3-inch HTC Evo 3D smartphone, both running Android 2.3, plus a Sprint-optimized Motorola Xoom tablet, says a report. Sprint has also criticized AT T's intentions to merge with T-Mobile, which the relatively small carrier claims would leave it in a market dominated by AT T and Verizon....
Before I had Android I had Verizon, AT&T, Cricket and Helio and got screwed by every single company in way or another and generally found customer service extremely unpleasant to deal with. In mid 2011 I met my boyfriend who worked for Sprint at the time. Through him I was introduced to the EVO 4G and fell in love with it and signed up with Sprint.
Hello everyone!
My Sprint contract is up in April. I'm currently living in an area with NO 4G LTE coverage and very poor voice coverage (Saint Clair, MO). From what I have seen, this area might never get 4G LTE coverage. Can I take my Sprint Galaxy Nexus to any prepaid carriers?
T-Mobile’s newest wireless plans have certainly gone without notice from its competitors, so it’s expected that we’ll see an onslaught of ads highlighting that there are more than a few alternatives out there for folks to choose from.
