I have a serious problem. I tried to change the Ubuntu Splash Screen with Plymouth Manager. I chose "Apple Installed Theme" or something like that and restarted the computer. Now, I have no login screen and Ubuntu won't even boot! I need help, please! Thx in advance!:confused:

everytime i switch on my laptop i have to see the annoying picture
i want to change that ugly splash screen and use official HP splash screen.
i used 'universal bios backup toolkit 2.0' to take back up of my present bios and loaded it in 'ezh20_188.8.131.52.exe' insyde bios editor.
Plymouth splash screen is the initial splash screen at boot-up.Ubuntu 10.04 uses Plymouth instead of xsplash to manage the fancy boot graphics.If you want something different,you can try following method to change the default Plymouth splash screen.

Unfortunately, I succeed to took only a few second of the new splash screen. This is the official splash screen that will be in the final release. Enjoy it.
I've created my own customized version of Ubuntu 12.04 using ubuntu-builder, but now I would like to get rid of the default splash screen and the welcome text related to Ubuntu that appear during the boot process and change it to my own customized welcome screen. Is this possible?
How do i change my splash screen on boot up? i want to change it because it is very bright when i start up. i know how to change the boot and shutdown animations but i dont know how to do this. any help would be appreciated :) i have rom stated below thanks!
