so it looks like the spectrum and the lucid are getting ics (Ice Cream Sandwich Headed To The LG Spectrum and LG Lucid on Verizon Wireless) is it possible that this is what we need to make ics on our phone work? i aske because we use the same root tool and the spectrum is the vs920 our predecessor.

Ok guys ive been trying to root my LG spectrum running 2.3.6 but nothing is working. Ive tried super one click but it just keeps rebooting my phone and does absoutly nothing. Any ideas??
I searched the forums, but did not find a direct comparison. Have any of you tried these two phones personally? What's your take? I have the LG Spectrum. I can say the screen is truly amazing! Nothing compares to that screen in my opinion. But, like most 4g phones, battery is not the best. I can go 16 hours on my Spectrum, but with no heavy use.
