SparkyLinux 2.1 RC1 “Eris” Ultra Edition was built on Debian testing branch “Wheezy” and synchronized with Debian testing repositories of 08/01/2013.

Paweł Pijanowski has proudly announced a few hours ago, March 19, that his SparkyLinux operating system based on the testing branch of Debian GNU/Linux has now reached version 2.1. Dubbed Eris, SparkyLinux 2.1 is now powered by Linux kernel 3.2.39-2 and it is based on the Debian testing repos as of March 15, 2013.
SparkyLinux GameOver, a lightweight, fast and simple Linux distribution, designed for both old and new computers featuring customized Enlightenment, LXDE, and WindowMaker desktops, is now at version 2.1.
Unlike a few of the other distributions in the SparkyLinux lineup, GameOver 2.1 is based on the stable branch of Debian.
The development team behind the MATE desktop environment proudly announces that the stable 1.6 version of the popular project is now available for download and upgrade.
