Sorting results from find by date

http://www.unix.com – Hello I have a large number of files in a directory, when I issue either one of these statements to get a list of files older than 90 days sorted by time descending I do not get the expected results: Code: find . -type f -mtime +90 | xargs ls -ltr find . -type f -mtime +90 -exec ls -ltr {} \; The result does not seem to be properly sequenced, at first sight it seems ordered but there are sections in the result that are not properly sequenced. Can anybody please help, maybe suggestions on different ways to achieve the complete sorting of only files older than 90 days? Thanks (HowTos)
