I use Chinese to communicate with my parents. I tried downloading a couple Chinese keyboard apps. Works fine on my phone, but when the person receives my text, they are all "question marks" that appear like "?????"
I looked through Settings>Language and Inputs>Languages and there is no Chinese. What should I do in this situation?
1. The switch of input method is very insensitive. Sometimes I must type or even hit the Ctrl+space several times in order to switch into Chinese input mode. I have never come to this problem in previous versions!
2. Ironically, when the computer enters the screen-saving with the Chinese input and I want to come back, the input of the passwords is still in Chinese input mode!
Chinese web site ePrice is reporting Sony will unveil the forthcoming Sony Xperia Z at CES 2013. The new Sony handset is quickly morphing into a device similar to LG’s Google Nexus 4 in that so many images and leaks are coming out, any official announcement is almost anti-climatic.
Hi I am new here but I setup an account just to declare my recommendation on the Google Pinyin keyboard. First of all I may be biased as I am not a fan of swipe input which seems to dominate the Android keyboard landscape for typing English.
In my humble opinion, the best user-friendly keyboard for typing English is actually the Google Pinyin Keyboard.
I have Chinese input working. I have xterm working. I have utf-8 working in my xterm. For example, I can see the lightning bolt unicode character. But when I input Chinese characters, I get those blocks.
I have just upgraded Ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10. It seems Ibus have been made big changes. Then I just go to system setting -> text entry settings -> add "Chinese pinyin" and "Japanese anty" input method. It works well when I input Chinese or Japanese in terminal or .txt file. But when I want to input Chinese and Japanese in Emacs.
