The Sony Xperia Z1S has received a lot of attention lately, and another shot of the device appeared on the web this week. This time, it was seen next to the 5″ Sony Xperia Z1.
Some specs came along with the photo— the device will come with an IPS display panel, a huge improvement over the TFT displays currently used in Sony’s phones.
Sony’s newest entry into the Xperia lineup, the Xperia Z1 Compact, is apparently having some issues with the camera flash in low light situations. According to users on Android-Hlife and the Sony Mobile forums, taking pictures at night outside or in dimly lit areas when using the flash causes light bleeding, which distorts the pictures.
There was some confusion when specifications for the Sony Xperia Z1S leaked earlier today. It was believed that it would be a 4.3-inch device that had almost the same specifications as Sony’s flagship Z1; however, that turned out to be the Xperia Z1 Compact. The Z1S is just T-Mobile’s variant of the Z1.
Just this morning the specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z2 tablet were leaked, and it seems that there’s already been another leak concerning the device. @evleaks and @gadgetleaks both leaked press photos of the tablet today, ahead of the Mobile World Congress next week. The Xperia Z2 certainly looks sleek, and is set to be one Sony’s biggest releases this year.
