I've got a laptop which I use two wireless adapters with. With one of them, I'd like NetworkManager to manage and automatically connect me to wireless networks when they're available. The other, I want NetworkManager to leave alone, letting me hack on it with iwconfig and whatnot.
I am running a version of RHCE6 on my laptop, and lately I've been trying various stuff about network configuration through command line. Last night, I tried removing the NetworkManager using "yum remove NetworkManager" from the system, so that I could have more control of the network through the command line.
Hi All,I'm on KDE x86_64, weekly updated (but I've also observed this on a i686 machine). After upgrading to NetworkManager to 0.9.8.9-1 it crashes every time I refresh the list of available networks using the applet (kdeplasma-applets-plasma-nm 0.9.3.3-1).[administrator@antonio-clevo-p150sm ~]$ systemctl status NetworkManager

I installed my networkmanager along with nmapplet and everything's running fine. Trying to set it up so that I don't need to authenticate to change wireless networks and I followed option 3 from the wiki hereOption 3.
