i recently saw ubuntu app developer showdown and i am very excited about it.
i have some questions about it and i seriously want good answers can you tell me an official or unofficial communities forums or emails where i can get good anwsers thanks.
Can I use old code by myself to build on for my entry in the Ubuntu App Showdown contest?
How can I sign up in this procedure?
I was reading this page: http://developer.ubuntu.com/showdown/ My understanding is just mention to @ubuntuappdev on Twitter and submit the app before the 9th July 2012. Is this right? Is that all?

Namely that after installing Ubuntu 12.04 and going to log in, I am met with a frozen slate of a desktop in which nothing loads (at longest I've sat for 30 minutes, reading, whilst nothing changes) and only the mouse moves.
Its not a blank screen, its the desktop that one is normally greeted with, just with nothing loaded.

I m starting to have lot of favorite questions in my AskUbuntu account.
So it takes my time to search and find a Question in my favorites.
Knowing that these Questions have tags (like ATI, Wine, USB, UNITY, ...),
is there a way to sort them ?
or is there a way to perform a query search in AskUbuntu specifying that I want to search only in my favorites ?
