Hi, I was just wondering if I need to go through the whole process when updating a rom in Clockwork? I am running Paranoid and I have received many updates and its getting frustrating having to set up my phone like it was brand new after each update. I just installed PA Updater but at the end of the download it brings me to Clockwork anyway.

I had the following problems which were fixed by a factory reset:
overall slowness and huge pauses/delays in apps
tethering manager force close
system locks up for ~10 secs after phone calls
shorter battery life
phone hangs up by itself
I tried several non-reset solutions but the only one that worked is a factory reset.
So tonight I got tired of having issues with the Browser and general performance and I have been reading that a lot of people have seen better performance by performing a factory reset. The only problem is that currently unless you are unlocked you can't root (unless I am wrong). I was able to successfully root my tablet using the ASUS AppBackup application.
