Been using MPD+ncmpcpp for some time. I cheated and used this script to set it up https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mp … figurationI have an .mpdconf = http://pastie.org/4235304Currently getting a 'problems setting volume' error.
If you are using /dev/sda1 why would you not specify that partition during the install command? I believe the error you are getting is pretty self-explanitory.EDIT: I do not use GRUB, I just read the wiki and it does say to specify the install location.
Thanks WonderWoofy, thats what I gathered from Googleing, but seems to odd that a switch to the main line kernel would seem to reolve it. Granted it was a downgrade from 3.11 to 3.10, guess I'll just wait and see. Every reboot failed on the new kernel where as on 3.10 I have absolutley zero issues.
If you are interested in improving boot time then readahead collect and replay fits the bill:https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … _readaheadYou need to reboot a few times for it to be fully optimized.
