Some questiong after the instaliation of CrunchBang Linux 10 "statler"

I had to reinstall Windows on my machine, which had a dual boot with Crunchbang. My crunchbang install has two partitions, root and home.

So I have installed windows, booted with a Ubuntu liveCD, reinstalled grub on the crunchbang root partition, rebooted... and my home cannot be found!

As the title suggests, this method was used to create a live Statler USB with persistence in Windoze 7 without UNetbootin.

Hello,My Thinkpad 600E is now running #! Crunchbang 9.04.  I am wondering how it will run on the new Crunchbang 10 "Statler".Any one out there has experiences?  Have you encountered any special issues?Thanks in advance.
