http://crunchbanglinux.org – good evening allthis is what i am trying to doi have a table.... table1so for example, if i were to putprint (table1[1])i would gettable_entry_1in lua i am using the string.format command but if i do thisprint(string.format('%s%s', 'table1', '[1]'))i gettable1[1]how do i make lua recognize the output of string.format as a call to an entry in a table?(does that make any sense?)edit.  i tried this also:test="@[1]" test2=string.gsub(test, "@", "table1") print (test2)but again i only gettable1[1]need someway to force lua to evaluate (HowTos)
