Some bugs with CM10

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I've just downloaded and flashed the latest CM10 ROM. I must say it's fantastic. A big thank you to the developers. I thought I'd report a few bugs that I found/ stuff that I felt was lacking. Major problem: this thing doesn't report the battery charge properly. The phone didn't look like it was going to die, but it suddenly did. When I connected it to charge, it said 5%. I let it charge until 10% before switching it back on. When I switched it on, it said battery had 36% charge. It still has a problem connecting to WiFi once in a while. I'm not sure why. I don't have the option of locking (HowTos)

Hi,

Im using the lastest Jellaxy cm10 for gio for 2 days now and i have problems with battery life.

After the install of the rom i had waited to 0% than i made a full charge, unplugged and started to use phone, listeing to music, wifi (2/3 hours per day), as i aleays do. after 4-5 hours battery was at 1% than turned off.

I put my Nexus 4 on charge over night, as usual. I woke up with 100% battery, obviously, drained the battery down to 75% and thought I'd put it back on charge to keep it topped up. As soon as I put it on it said it was fully charged, even though it couldn't have been.

Now that the wifi tethering has been fixed in CM10 ROM (which was the only thing that was concerning me from switching over to CM10.)

But how is the battery life of CM10 in comparison to CM9? Can I use it as my daily driver or will I need to charge my phone frequently? :confused:

my phone won't charge i bought a new battery and it still doesn't charge. i have tried different charges and still doesnt charge. so i stripe the wires on the usb and stuck the positive and negative to wire to my phone. thatshow it works but i cant take it out of my room because if i unpluge it it turns off. its not the battery or the charger. what can the problem be?

am using Ubuntu 9.10 on an acer aspire one. i have by mistake removed the icons for battery charge and the wifi from the pannel on my desktop and am unable to retrieve them. its a big problem cause i do not know how much charge i have left on my computer and i loose work because the comp shuts down whenever it is out of charge.. please help.

i bought this phone yesterday i mean i started to use when i first time charge it was %30 i keep charge it full till evening now i always keep it charge whenever get chance what im asking is how to use battery to keep it charge everytime or charge it once till %100 then finish and charge again

Hi everyone,

I found a way to improve battery life of our phone. We just charge our phone with usb cable with usb mass-storage. Let it full charge and enjoy strongly battery life. It worked for me and after that you dont need to charge with cable again just do normal charge with adapter.

Just tested with my phone CM10 A2. Battery drain about 2%(6hrs didnt do anything).

phone wont charge when off 36 weeks 1 day ago

Red charge light is on but the battery doesn't gain any charge. Loses some infact The battery stats have a gap showing 0% charge for the period the phone was off and charging

Hey all,

I recently flashed CM 10, the stable version, and am loving it so far. The only issue is an odd one. When I turn my phone off and charge it, it will only charge 20%, not a % more. It could be at 40, and when I wake up and turn it on, it's at 60. The battery icon while the phone is off shows that it's fully charged, but it's not.
