[SOLVED]I can't set path to my music folder with mpd+ncmpcpp

The visualizer on my ncmpcpp-git is not working. I have the deps installed, according to the aur page.

It's solved. I locate the folder python2.7 in /usr/lib/ and many file were missing, then I did was copy the same folder from another PC that also have installed Chakra Linux replacing the existing one and Voilá!! Problem solved. Thank for everyone.

Hi everyone, been stumped on this for about a day if someone might be able to assist.Recently setup mpd, as I would like to use the ncmpcpp-git package. I set it up according to the wiki pages, however ncmpcpp has no sound.

I use dladdr to get full path to the library:

Dl_info dl_info; int ret = dladdr((void*)&func, &dl_info); if (ret) // use dl_info.dli_fname;

It works fine. However, if I rename the folder with the build (and then run again), dli_fname does not contain full path, only file name of the library. Why is that?

Hi, I just posted the same question earlier today and found this tonight. I hope it's not being rude to double check. I noticed johnraff said that he used symbolic links to point /home/john/music to /data/john/music. Does that mean that you could click on /home/john/music and be taken straight to data/john/music, or does this create a link inside the music folder that takes you there?
