Hi there,
I am currently running Fedora KDE Spin 64bit on my ibm desktop. I have put a lot of effort into making it my own as I see it. I would like know if there is a way I could make a .iso image of it so that others can benefit from the work I have done. If so, how do I need to go about doing this?
This page shows there is a spin of Fedora targeted towards gamers but none of the 4 links are valid. Does anybody know what is going on with this? Were these links posted prematurely? I am a Linux newbie so I don't know if this is a brand-new spin, an upcoming spin, or a long-standing spin. Again, the link is below, then click on downloads to see the download links.
Hi there! I'm a little curious, as GNOME Shell's really a great DE 'cause it's really about as customizable as GNOME 2 was if you think about it, if there's any way you can get MGSE in the GNOME spin of Fedora, as well as Docky and Conky. You can set up something like that easily in Fedora, or any other RPM-based GNOME Shell distro, such as Mageia, right?
Dear Friends,
I am running Fedora 16 32+ bit distro on my pc. I just downloaded the package called liveusb-creator using yum command as root and was trying to see if I could use my 4 GB USB stick (pen drive) to install Fedora on other pcs of mine just as I normally do with DVD/CD. For this purpose I needed to download iso image of Fedora.
I am currently code naming this UFSP(Unofficial Fedora Spin Project.)
Now this is what I have for FSE:
This is just a Fedora 17 base install with Clementine player, Gnome Tweak to change the themes and Gimp. For the theme I used the Ubuntu Satanic theme and Buuf icons repackaged for Fedora by plusnettr.
But am still needing some help with this project.
Hi,
I am a newbie to Linux operating systems other than having used a derivative of it on my cellphone for the past year or so.
Why does Fedora call their default distribution "Desktop" instead of "GNOME".
I thought that I had downloaded the KDE Version of Fedora 17 But when I installed I found out it was Gnome 3 desktop instead of KDE. Can I download KDE from the repo's and install it that way or do I need to download the version of Fedora with KDE desktop? I am new to Fedora But am familiar with other distributions.
