I am glad that was helpful!If after a number of reboot you see that the USB to PS/2 adapter does the trick, please, edit the title of your first post adding a heading [SOLVED], otherwise post back for more troubleshooting..

If the keyboard switcher is in the Tint2 systray and you didn't put it there...you're running off a Live ISO, aren't you? If so, the only way to get rid of it is to edit and rebuild the ISO image, which takes quite a bit of work.
