I really do not know what's wrong with my CD/DVD drive. If I want to play any film, no problem, films will play. But If I try extracting music tracks using Juicer, then I get the message: 'cannot mount CD' or 'location not supported'. Huh?
Any suggestion highly welcome. Thanks in advance for all help and trouble.
Have a nice Sunday.
I am trying to create a new partition in a free slot of an hard drive using the Gnome Disk utility (on 14.04). I always get the message below:
Error creating partition on /dev/sda: Command-line `parted --align
optimal --script "/dev/sda" "mkpart logical ext2 119947MiB
225767517695b"' exited with non-zero exit status 1: Error: You
requested a partition from 126GB to 226GB.
I updated ubuntu this morning (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS). I had a partition with both vista and Ubuntu. It now seems vista has gone. I think I have done something wrong but I do not know what. Is there a 'restore' to previous state? How do I know my partition has been suppressed ?
I really want to have both OS on this machine.
A million thanks in advance for useful tips.
