I created a 200GB truecrypt container and thinking that you should be able to mount it from anywhere I transfered it into my external hardrive. Then, I tried to mount it, but TrueCrypt won't even display my external hardrive in the folder list. However, I did notice "select device" button. That to me seems like TrueCrypt wants to treat the whole hardrive as a container.
I have recently transfered from windows and i'm loving Ubuntu. Starting to get my teeth stuck into command line etc...
I operated a network hardrive whilst on windows which is a mybookworld nas. I can find it on my network but only have limited accessability to it even when i enter my passwords. I can play things from it but can not save onto it.
Hi,Now it works.I've runned : CHKDSK F: /f /r(Where F: is obviously the mountage point of the external hard drive on Windows)Waited some hours (that's long...) and done, some errors fixed :-).Thanks !Cordially, Koshie
Hi. I've installed RHEL 6 on my external hardrive and I can't seem to get my WIFI working. On ifconig command I see that my network controler is Atheros.
I tried getting drivers for it i.e. madwifi-0.9.4-0.1.r2598.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm and tried installing but still no wlan.
I'm really new to this and am not sure on how to go about it. Please assist.
