Hi,the problem was caused by Akonadi Nepomuk Feeder Agent, which wasn't online, because it supposed Nepomuk service to be disabled. Restarting this agent via Akonadi Console solved the problem.Regards Michael
One of the most disliked features of the early KDE SC 4 releases was the developers' attempt to establish the semantic desktop. The tools to further this goal are Nepomuk and Akonadi. While Nepomuk tries to interconnect meta data from different desktop applications, Akonadi is a service that stores and retrieves data from PIM applications like mail, calendar and contacts.
Addition of a video wall script in KDE-Workspace
Support of third party window switchers by a KCM service that finds all available window switcher layouts
Work on extended quick search to include fulltext results from Nepomuk in KDE-PIM
Improved Nepomuk feeder throttling
Improvements in Kexi Feedback Agent
Since a lot was changed with RC 2 toward nepomuk, it might be important to get any bug reports upstream asap, if ofc this is a nepomuk issue, not a Chakra setting.Your Gentoo is on 4.9.97 too? What soprano and akonadi versions?
My akonadi server won't start, and I've never been able to figure out why. As more and more KDE apps are moving to akonadi, I lose functionality bit by bit. I've always had this problem, so it's not some update that has broken it.
