[SOLVED] launch kde application with a custom env var?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi folks, What I'm trying to do is launch a konsole window but pass it an environment variable that I can access within the shell. The ultimate goal is to be able to launch a different konsoles with different values for the env var. I figured out a way to do it if I launch a bash shell in the konsole. How I do it is to create a custom icon for the konsole launcher in my panel, then add this line to the associated .desktop file: Code: Exec=konsole -e /bin/bash --init-file /..../.new_bashrc_case1 within the /..../.new_bashrc_case1 file, I set my env var to be what I want, then sou (HowTos)
