HP Deskjet D2680 Review
Linux and Whatever: “The HP Deskjet D2680 is very easy to install in Linux. First I installed hplip and then I installed hplip-gui. After that it was as simple as plugging the printer in and then opening the HP device manager.”
Printer/scanner works great! Make sure you download driver from here:http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/install/index.html if your running 9.10 or below.I believe 10.04 has these drivers already installed.
Hi Guys, It is not really a problem , but i like to know why Ubuntu 12.10 changed the size of letters from the start screen after i installed the new Nvidia driver 310 ? I installed freshly Ubuntu 12.10 and by that Ubuntu installed the vesa driver who brought a nice and need start screen and a bad desktop. So now i have a nice and need desktop but the start screen is bad!

I have a HP Deskjet 1050A All-in-One printer. But the problem with Lubuntu 13.10 ( Saucy Salamender ) is that it does not have the plug and play printer drivers like the other Ubuntu's do. You can however add the HP Deskjet 1050A All-in-One printer through the printer settings menu in Lubuntu. It does then recognize the printer but it does not allow you to print or scan anything.
