[SOLVED] How to find and remove packages listed in error message

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hey all, first post :) When I was brand new to Ubuntu, I downloaded some packages using the APT before fully understanding it. I'm not 100% sure what I did back then, but these packages are causing errors with the 'Software Updater' such that it simply displays an error message, and then closes (however, I am able to update my software using the command line). The error message I get from the software updater is: Failed to Download Repository Information: W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ferramrober...source/Sources 404 Not Found , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/f (Hardware)

i keep getting this error

They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I upgraded a week ago from 12.04 to 12.10 and all is fine. However, I tried to check for any software updater but I receive the following error. W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/upubuntu-co...source/Sources 404 Not Found , W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/upubuntu-co...-i386/Packages 404 Not Found , E:Some index files failed to download.

Sorry folks I know I need to fix the repositories but thought I would ask for advise first

This is the error from the "check for updates"

I am having a problem with the Software Updater in Ubuntu 12.10. What a nightmare updating from 12.04 to 12.10.

After Updrading to 12.10 from 12.04 am getting the following error messages while running the update manager,which seems like some problem with file related to Myunity.

could anyone help me to remove this error message.

Every 2 days or so, when I go to update my ubuntu, I get a Orange Triangle with a "!"

Hi Ubuntu User I am a new ubuntu user. When i first install ubuntu it seems good to work.

When I press the button "check" to find updates, I always get this error:
