Mozilla released Firefox 13 Wednesday, which it says is a speedier, safer version of the open source web browser. The newly launched Firefox also boasts a new home page and tab page layout similar to those of competing browsers such as Google's Chrome.
I was running Google Chrome just fine but I noticed that was too many chrome process running, one of them consuming with high memory usage, so I decided to terminate that unique chrome process.
Since I did that, I having chrome black screen for all visited pages.
Have already tried to remove chrome from synaptic and installed it again but the black screen persists.

Hi, I am running Kubuntu 11.10. I love it. The biggest issues have been dvd's and this one.
I use google chrome for my web browser. When ever I go to Yahoo.ca, The first page displays right, but if I click on a link, it takes me to a different page that just has some of the stories from the main page on it, instead of taking me to the story.
Because of privacy reasons, all the popular web-browsers have an option to prevent sites from tracking users.
My problem:
- I can go to youtube.com on Firefox 3.5.6 OR Google Chrome 4.0.249.43
- I can play videos on the web page (like normal)
- If I click the full screen button next to the volume or HD button, the screen goes black, the video plays, but the video does not expand full screen.

On some amazon.com, amazon.ca ,amazon,uk.co pages when viewing with firefox, the page redirects to a black screen with one white pixel in the middle.
Only happens with Firefox, Chrome doesn't redirect.

I'm new here so apologies if this is the wrong forum but this is an odd problem so it wasn't clear where to go.
At some point today Google Chrome started redirecting all http requests to localhost (I get the test page from my local Apache install).
