Hi everyone.I have built an extension for gnome-shell to manage the radeons' power profile. It should work on every radeon using the open source drivers, and supports multiple card setups. You can find the source here:https://github.com/StuntsPT/shell-exten … le-managerThe extension here:https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ … e-manager/Or even an AUR package here:https://aur.archlinux.org/pa
I got same problem but my gnome I installed by single packages from repo (mean gnome-shell, gnome-session, libsoup etc.) not by "gnome" metapackage. After installing "gnome" metapackage problem is solved for me... maybe you should try this ?
I tried installing the extension following the instructions from here:https://github.com/mlutfy/hidetopbarAnd also tried from here:https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ … e-top-bar/The extension is in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions, but it won't even show up in gnome-tweak-tool.I see no errors with the two methods I tried.
Even with tracker set up properly, gnome-shell won't be much help for searching local files. About all you can find via the gnome-shell overlay search is folders, gnome-shell just doesn't seem to have full tracker integration yet.
I have the following issues:- Gnome shell sometimes freezes/crashes when I type in a program name in Activities- Gnome shell sometimes has 100% CPU usage (permanently) after accessing Activitites- 3 second wait after clicking shutdown. Nothing happens in these 3 seconds.
