[SOLVED] Changing the MAC address without a GUI

view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Right now, my desktop computer is mostly mung, partially because of a bad update, and won't boot into a GUI. Now, it's suddenly reporting in the boot messages that the MAC address of eth1 isn't what's expected, and that it's ignoring it. This means no connectivity, making it even harder to fix. Does anybody know how to find out what the actual MAC address is and correct this issue strictly from the command line? (HowTos)
