SOLVED-cant install GDM

http://crunchbang.org – Never mind I just installed gdm3 I guess it's just changed it's name to show its newer version------------------------------------------when I try    sudo apt-get install gdm   in terminal I get this messagePackage gdm is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source However the following packages replace it: indicator-applet-session gnome-control-center-data E: Package 'gdm' has no installation candidateI see in synaptic there is only gdm3  (HowTos)
