http://www.linuxquestions.org – I want to take a series of screenshots, and I am attempting to implement this via calling scrot (a screen capture program) in a script that I set up to run as a cronjob. My issue is that the call to scrot doesn't seem to work when called via the cronjob. Here's what I have in my crontab Code: */1 * * * * /home/fincher/Documents/screenshots/take_screenshot.sh And here is the content of take_screenshot.sh Code: #!/bin/bash now=$(date +%Y_%m_%d-%H_%M_%S) echo "$now bazinga" >> /home/fincher/Documents/screenshots/other_test.log /usr/bin/scrot -u /home/fincher/Documents/s (HowTos)
