I'M trying to install the newest version of Bluegriffon http://bluegriffon.org/ from a tar file they didn't have a installer on the 1.6 or 1.61 and i want to run the new version of this. I can go inside and click on the file and open it.
Not sure if you mean " web design applications/programs".If so there is "BlueGriffon" in the Chakra extra repository or there is "Aptana" that you can download from their web site and then unpack it and run it from your home directory.Edited. As said Bluefish not Bluegriffon
There really isn't a real good HTML WYSIWYG in Linux. However my needs are simple, Basic. Nothing complicated.I selected the "bluegriffon" package in the AUR as I could not get Amaya (my 1st choice) to build. Amaya is also orphaned for some reason.FYI,Sincerely,Dave
I have been using Ubuntu (currently 12.04 LTS) for quiet a while. When I program a website with Bluefish, BlueGriffon, Kompozer, Sublime Text, Seamonkey and Amaya they all mess up the source-code for the website (the design elements are not in the correct positions even though I coded and recoded them. They all seem to want to recode before saving.
Could someone explain to me why when I use scrot:scrot -d 1 '%Y-%m-%d--%s_$wx$h_scrot.png' -e 'mv $f ~/images/ & gthumb ~/images/$f'I use the same command and end up with PNG's of different sizes?2012-03-23--1332543890_1280x1024_scrot.png = 935.8 KB
