Namely that after installing Ubuntu 12.04 and going to log in, I am met with a frozen slate of a desktop in which nothing loads (at longest I've sat for 30 minutes, reading, whilst nothing changes) and only the mouse moves.
Its not a blank screen, its the desktop that one is normally greeted with, just with nothing loaded.
So far I've tried http://askubuntu.com/questions/15715...-12-04-upgrade
I m starting to have lot of favorite questions in my AskUbuntu account.
So it takes my time to search and find a Question in my favorites.
Knowing that these Questions have tags (like ATI, Wine, USB, UNITY, ...),
is there a way to sort them ?
or is there a way to perform a query search in AskUbuntu specifying that I want to search only in my favorites ?
Something like this would be perfect:

Hello. I posted a question on the askubuntu section and got a useless answer.
After following the instructions here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/17332...-splash-screen (Ubuntu Sunrise (plymouth))
On reboot I get the following message in a low graphics popup:
"Your system is running in low graphics mode".
I have to reboot into the grub menu and choose 'recovery' option and then choose 'resume boot' to get to my desktop.
How do I fix this?
Ok, I wrote in my other thread, I'm new to Ubuntu. I'll change to it, but now I've got a test enviroment (with 12.10) on my notebook. So I can test it, and there's no problem if I make a mistake.
2 days ago after a reboot I got the message "The system is running in low-graphics mode" error... And I couldn't do anything.
Hi there, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and an AMD HD 7700 with the newest driver and 12.6er ccc.
My monitor is connected via HDMI, so the ccc always does an underscan, so I have black boxes around my screen. On every bootup, this happens. I'm opening the ccc and go to the Advanced-page, but the slider of "overscan" is already set to 0%.
