Just Updated the system (pacman -Syu) .... And everything went well... Amarok is working fine now...

amarok uses opengl features when he starts,so if you have opengl problems with your graphic card driver it may cause problem to amarok,under virtualbox amarok is unable to start, but if I disable opengl acceleration in graphic driver settings amarok can start, this may be a clue for your problem

Yup.* Introducing split -sna and -uxa accel methods: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … cd5ac33f4f* unifying them: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … 0f21bfb8ccwith some "interesting" changes to the PKGBUILD in between ;PIf OP run 'pacman -Syu xf86-video-intel' and has no ignored package in pacman.conf he should be fine now.
