Strange problem I have never encountered. I changed the boot order on the Acer's BIOS, put the USB at the top so it boots first from the USB. Turn on the machine with the USB inserted, it gives the usual list of options: Run Ubuntu from USB, Install Ubuntu, etc.
I select the first one, Run Ubuntu from USB, and nothing happens. Zilch. Blank black screen.
I have an ACER ASPIRE 4743G with dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13.10, Just installed the Ubuntu although it shuts down without notice.
I tried narrowing the reason, I checked the temperature of processors and drives and its way up 71-75. And Also the the laptop gets very hot.
Now any suggestions on how to solve the problem? I want to know what is causing it?
