Compiling PHP on Solaris 33 weeks 3 days ago

I'm compiling PHP with --enable-fpm on Solaris 10 (sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T1000) and it stops at

#error Sparc v8 and predecessors are not and will not be supported (see bug report 53310)

Following the error, the CPU I have is a v9 ? Why is the error occurring? How should the compilation be signaled to include a -mcpu=v9 ?

I installed powerPath and configure the drivers and I am trying to connect to EMC CX-4 with flare 28

remark ( from uname -a ):

Hi folks,

I was patching Sun server (SunOS suns121 5.10 Generic_144488-17 sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T200) with the lateset bundle. It was completed with no errors. Server was restarted with shutdown command (/usr/sbin/shutdown -y –i6 -g0) after patching was complete. However, after that, server won't boot at all. Anybody got any idea what would be the reason behind? Thanx

I have recently re-installed Solaris 10 on a Sun Blade 150 followed by a patch set (10_Recommended) dated 2011.12.05.

I have just noticed /bin/sun now returns false, rather than true. See below.
