What i can do?
In earlier Ubuntu version, when you double click on a .deb file, it launches GDebi and install the package. Now GDebi has been dropped and Ubuntu Software Center takes the place to install deb package. This simple tutorial will show you how to replace Software Center with the old GDebi to install .deb package in Ubuntu 12.04.
