SocialFlow, the makers of social marketing optimization technology that helps brands determine when to post their messages to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, as well as which messages they should promote, has today closed on $10 million in Series B funding.
Italian startup and cross-platform development solution AppsBuilder today announced a €1.5 million (just shy of $2 million U.S.) venture funding round, following its undisclosed seed round from 2011 and led by Italian angel investors Massimiliano Magrini and Mario Mariani, with participation from Vertis Venture and Zernike Meta Ventures.
The Toronto-based online advertising and marketing company Chango just announced that it has raised $12 million. All of the participants in Chango’s last funding round also participated in this one, including iNovia, Rho Canada Ventures, Metamorphic Ventures, Mantella Venture Partners and Extreme Venture Partners.
TechStars Boston 2011 grad Promoboxx, a startup offering a brand-to-retailer marketing platform, has raised an additional investment of $1.375 million to close its Series Seed round of financing. The company’s investors include Launch Capital, Boston Seed, SK Ventures, Common Angels, Stage 1 Ventures, and over 30 angels.
Israeli startup Getonic, which builds tools for small businesses wanting to sell via social channels such as Facebook, has announced it has raised $1.3 million in total funding.
London-based social media marketing platform, Footfall123, which offers a variety of digital marketing management tools for brands and retailers to run promotions through Facebook or via other digital channels, has raised a new Series A funding round of £1.7 million.
Cheers, the app and social network built around giving users the chance to celebrate the good things in their lives, has raised a $2.5 million Series A funding round led by MindFund and including Charles River Ventures, Trinity Ventures, AngelList founder Naval Ravikant and others.
Video management startup Kaltura is growing fast, but it’s looking to expand even more, and has raised even more money to do so. The company has closed a $25 million Series D round of funding, which includes money from new investors Mitsui Global Investment and Orix Ventures.
Social news startup Nuzzel has raised more than $1.7 million in seed funding.
