Yesterday I was listening to media files on my LG Esteem, but when I got up this morning the media player says there are "No Files." I can see the files are there with the file manager, but the media play can't see them.
This has been a recurring problem for a long time and the only way I have found to reset this is to reboot the phone.
Everyone likes a good media player, no matter what system they’re using.

My fiance just got an Incredible 4g, and I put a bunch of music on an SD card and popped it in. Neither Astro or ES File Explorer can see any media files on the SD card, but the stock music player recognizes that all the music is on there and can play all of it.
So, I know all the files are on the SD card, but none of them show up.
I want to watch a number of trailers and make notes inbetween each one. So, instead having them play one after the other without stopping, I want each one to automatically stop once it's done, and then I'll hit a key to play the next one in the playlist.
How do I do this?
(I have Movie Player (aka Totem) and VLC Media Player. I would prefer not to install another media player unless I have to.)
We took a look at ASUS' O!Play media player a couple of weeks ago, and now we're checking out WD's spin on things, with its TV Live Plus. In addition to the fact that it supports a multitude of media formats, it has a great design, dual USB ports, HDMI and Component connectivity, and in our testing, also offered great performance.
hello, id like to ask help with banshee media player. i can play .mov files but with no sound. i tried using vlc player and it played the movie with sound but it cannot read the entire file. i find it weird because banshee can actually play the entire movie with no error...only that it has no sound.
i dont have any other media in my laptop because i have just fresh installed my OS .
