Hello, today i tried to install new drivers, amd and I've never installed any drivers on this machine before so there's no old crap that's messin with my pc.
eeepc 1000. ubuntu 9.10 beta.
i have just upgraded and noticed that when I'm trying to turn off the working wireless with wpa security (alt+f2) everything stucks and only the blank screen with stucked mouse cursor appeared.
i have tried to fill in the bugreport, but it is a kernel bug and I don't know how to report it.
I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 and today was my first attempt to use Deja Dup for data backup. My choice was based on the fact that Deja Dup is the most acclaimed one among all the backup tools available for Ubuntu.
As a test drive, I'm trying to backup approximately 4 GB of files to a local folder instead of Ubuntu One or any other cloud service.
So, here's the problem that I have with restoring. First, I backed up like everything. So I had place on the external HD for only one copy.
I had to reinstall everything, but I didn't worry because I had a backup. But now, restoring doesn't work and it starts to be annoying.
So, I right click "Restore missing files...". Then I have the popup window from Deja Dup asking where is the backup.
My problem: As you can guess my Ubuntu 12.10 stucks in a login loop when trying to enter my desktop. Means the screen gets black and soon after that the login screen comes back.
hi all
so i regularly backup my note 2 before I rom it with a new rom.
my question is, if i wanted to copy the cwm backup files off the phone for backup, do i just need the dated backup folder or do i also need the blobs folder if i wanted to do a restore. ?
Using duplicity to backup a folder on a certain event, how can I get a list of all available backup dates as I don't know in advance when the event occurred?
I want to list the available dates as deja-dup does. Final goal is to restore a certain date from the list.
duplicity file:///backup-folder restore-folder --restore-time "yyyy-mm-dd"
