You could try the netinstall scrupt: http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=25098This lets you install a Debian netinstall system (the iso is ~260mb) and run a script to build it up to Crunchbang.

Hey Elmo!It definitely seems like you've got a conundrum here. What I'd recommend is trying to put a Debian Netinstall image on a CD (https://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/) and then running JohnRaff's CrunchBang Netinstall script (as described here: http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=25098). That will give you an environment exactly like #!
