I am thinking of buying a Supermicro SC847E26-RJBOD1, 45 disk case. But how good is it? It is it top of the line, best of the best? Or medium server stuff, or low grade?

I'm considering to build one with something like this:
(a chasis with two dual port multipath expanders)
(4 8-port plain SAS controllers, 2 for each backplane)
and 36 Seagate 3Tb SAS drives (ST33000650SS)
OS -- FreeBSD.
I am looking at purchasing a Q87 chipset motherboard. Why? I like that this platform has all the features I want and none that I don't. For what I use my device for, overclocking has no benefits. I value reliability and stability most.
I was looking at the Supermicro X10SLQ or the Gigabyte GA-Q87M-MK.
I would like to use the forums as my own personal sanity check.
What RWD sports cars or sedans have the best stability control systems? I want to get a RWD sports car, but given what happened to my last BMW without such a system in the rain, I am thinking stability control might be nice this time around.
Still though, I would like one that lets you get a little bit sideways before kicking in.
