Hi,it takes a while to shutdown a centos 6.x, it got some kvm running, where should I look for the log about shut down? thanks,Angelo [by angelochen960]
I'm on the Mate spin of Fedora 20.
When I shut down my computer, it takes FOREVER. 3-5 minutes or more. It takes longer to shut down than to restart. Restarting has been kinda slow, too (like a minute).
It gets stuck on the plymouth shutdown screen, with no indication of what's going on.
Installed fedora 21 desktop 64-bit to VMware workstation 11. It takes about 2 minutes to shutdown (vs <6 secs in fedora 20). Logging out hangs the VM. Same behaviour with Live CD.
Running the same CD in virtual box works and shutdown (init 0) is nearly instant.
Have attached a shutdown debug log if anyone is smart at reading those and has any ideas.
